In the early Sunday raid, an old mosque in the Lebanese village of Kfar Tibnit, near the southeastern border of Lebanon was 'destroyed completely,' the National News Agency said. But there were no immediate reports of deaths.
Late Saturday an attack on a market in the southern city of Nabatieh killed several people and sparked a fire, the Lebanese Red Cross said. The huge fire prevents the number of dead and injured from being known yet.
Lebanese Red Cross is still trying to see 'if there were any survivors and trying to pull people who are injured out,' was reported by Al Jazeera's Laura Khan, reporting from the capital Beirut.
“There’s been a lot of people on social media.” Videos of whole streets destroyed – of what seems almost like apocalyptic scenes – they've been sent to.
They were not able to get in and see if there were bodies in the rubble as the fire was so bad, Al Jazeera’s Imran Khan reporting from Hasbaiyya in Nabatieh governorate, said.
'The market is completely destroyed.
